With up to 26 weeks of seasonal work available you will complete your summer well qualified and industry trained, with a minimum of 8 weeks experience as a professional Skipper under your belt.

a work placement with one of our partner brands.
PRE-SEASON TRAINING PROGRAMME
All newly qualified Skippers take part in the pre-season training programme
before first placement with any of The Yacht Academy partners. This ensures you are equipped
with the knowledge and expertise required for the role you will be assigned.
WHAT IS INCLUDED?
- 10-day programme with meals and accommodation included
- Charter yacht management and maintenance practices
- Med style mooring practices, including yacht raft building
- Operational practices
- Local knowledge – including island tours and various excursions
- Introduction to guest management
- Food safety training and menu preparation
